| LCD FAQ | 4 Soldering Direction (1)When soldering the pins to PCB, the distance from LCD to PCB is at least 5mm. Avoid excessive heat and keep soldering temperature at 260¡æ for 5~10 seconds. (RoHS pin). 20W~30W soldering iron is recommended to use. (2)Do not modify the PCB by drilling extra holes, changing its outline, moving its components or modifying its pattern after the LCD is mounted to the PCB. Do not move the pins with strength, it will destroy the joint of the Pin and LCD. (3)When mounting the LCD with pins to the PCB, make sure each part is not under any stress such as bending or twisting. Avoiding destroy them. (4)LCD should not be kept in the steam of soldering tin for long time. When cleaning the PCB, avoid stain the LCD and destroy the polarizer and the epoxy on glass. (5)The protect film on the LCD polarizer should be removed after soldering. Avoid touch by fingers or hard stuffs, avoid stain by water or other chemicals. These will make the LCD damaged. 5 Storage Guide (1)Keep the temperature within range for use and storage. Excessive temperature and humidity could cause polarization degradation, polarizer peel-off or bubble generation. When storage for a long period , keep the temperature between 15¡æ and 35¡æ and the relative humidity below 65%. (2)Store in dark places and do not expose to sunlight or fluorescent light. Contact with water over a long period of time may cause polarizer deformation or color fading, while an active LCD with water condensation on its surface will cause corrosion of ITO electrodesPage Up |
